Project description
Keilaniemi Next is a 9 floor office building located in Helsinki, close to the new metro station of Keilaniemi. The building plan presents an polygonal form that responds well to the plot´s irregular plan. It contains two floors below street level serving as parking area and 9 floors for offices, restaurant, social spaces, etc.
The faceted texture of the metal panels in the facades, part of which are perforated, provide protection against direct sun radiation enhancing the depth of the façade solution. This trait ensures the image of the building as an urban hit in the street´s encroachment in which the building is inserted.
The building area is around 10000 m² and serves as the new location for Fiskars headquarters.
